The Twin Wells Alluvial Prospect showed strong extensive stacked swarms pegmatites striking within a southerly direction over 650 metres. Several rock chip samples were collected from the pegmatites for assaying. Samples over the historic Twin Wells alluvial tailings have also been sampled for assaying.
Haystack Well (Li-Ta-Sn)
The Haystack Well Project (E46/1380) is located around 120km south of the Marble Bar township and hosts strong indicators of localised LCT pegmatites. Extensive stacked pegmatite swarms over 650m wide and historically mined form Tantalum containing Beryl, Corundum and Kunzite (lithium oxide), as found at Tabba Tabba Tantalum Deposit Western Pilbara WA.
Based on the soil and most recent rock chip sampling, there is evidence of granite fractionation based on the enrichment of pathfinder elements such as 23 ppm Ta, 14 ppm Be, 45 ppm Nb and 50 ppm Cs within soils.
Recent rock chip samples include 40 ppm Ta, 90 -150 ppm Li, 20 ppm Sn, 1,257 – 2,355 ppm Rb with 45 – 597 ppm Cs.
The two lithium anomalies are greater than 1.5km long are situated in the pegmatitic aureole surrounding the granite and are open in all directions and follows the Goldilocks Zone perfectly. The soil anomalies equate to ~2.9km of contact strike-length, yet the remaining ~20km of granite aureole zone is yet to be adequately sampled
PILBARA BATTERY METALS
Tambourah North (E45/4953) is located approximately 200km South West of Marble Bar the Township on the Soansville Group Formation, which hosts the Pilbara Minerals’ Pilgangoora Lithium Deposit (226Mt @ 1.29% Li2O) and Mineral Resources’ Wodgina Lithium Deposit 236MT @ 1.2% Li2O.
The Coondinia Project (E45/266) is located around 50km Southeast of Pilbara Minera’s Mt Francisco Project and contains abundant late-stage pegmatites swarms which principally host the tin/tantalum mineralisation.
The Soanesville Projects are located around 60-80kms South East the of Pilbara Minerals’ Pilgangoora Project and Mineral Resources’ Wodgina Project, in similar geological and structural features.
