Coondinia (Li-Ta-Sn-REE)

The Coondinia Project (E45/266) is located around 50km Southeast of Pilbara Minera’s Mt Francisco Project and contains abundant late-stage pegmatites swarms which principally host the tin/tantalum mineralisation. Historically, 1,770.71t of tin concentrate and 84.33t of tantalite concentration was produced on the project.

The Project has a several historic non-JORC Tin/Tantalum mineral resource located on the tenement in a tin rich area. Recent sampling indicates LCT pegmatites within the area based on the strongly anomalous niobium, tin, rubidium and caesium.

Late-stage pegmatites swarms which principally host the tin/tantalum mineralisation. No lithium exploration has been conducted over these pegmatites.

Reconnaissance RC drilling over outcropping spodumene bearing pegmatites is planned to commence June-August 2022, supplemented by additional geological mapping and rock chip sampling.

MinRex holds various other tenements in the vicinity of the Coondina Project (E45/5851, E46/1381 & E45/5850), which are at all at early-stages of exploration.

The Marble Bar Projects are located 10-20km North-East of the Marble Bar Township and surround Global Lithium’s Archer Deposit (hosting 10.5Mt @ 1.0% Li2O).

Tambourah North (E45/4953) is located approximately 200km South West of Marble Bar the Township on the Soansville Group Formation, which hosts the Pilbara Minerals’ Pilgangoora Lithium Deposit (226Mt @ 1.29% Li2O) and Mineral Resources’ Wodgina Lithium Deposit 236MT @ 1.2% Li2O.

The Shaw River Project (E45/4601) is located due east of Tamboura North and contains abundant late-stage pegmatites swarms.

The Haystack Well Project (E46/1380) is located around 120km south of the Marble Bar township and hosts strong indicators of localised LCT pegmatites.
